Description
Teaching interest groups quickly became a student favorite with these hands-on research projects! The Interest Group Research Projects are an easy-to-use resource and are standard aligned. You get two fun and creative projects for students to complete. Plus, you get two options to choose from or give your kids the choice.
With the Interest Group Tissue Box Project students will be in charge of researching and advertising an interest group of their choice using a tissue box! Students will follow the step-by-step assignment sheet to complete their project, and you can use the grading rubric for quick and simple grading.
With the Interest Group Speed Dating Project students will pretend to be a leader of an American interest group. They will research their interest group and create a resume based on their research. Then, they will go around the room “speed dating” with their peers, sharing their resumes, and seeking out other interest groups with whom they have similar goals.
This three-page printable resource is a wonderful project to enhance any civics or government course.
